Salt was a one-of a-kind, farm-to-table experience. Chef-owned and operated, we offered small-plate tasting menus on Friday and Saturday nights*, with seatings at 5:30, 6:30, 7:30 (& 8:30 on particularly busy nights). The fixed-price meals consisted of five or seven courses ($35, $50 or $75, respectively), and make use of seasonal Vermont ingredients supplemented with the finest seafood from New England.
We will open on Sunday for groups of 10 or more (or for cooking lessons), by advance request.
Menu themes may be based on world cuisines, historical events, film, literature, a particular color, or whatever else strikes our fancy! Our fixed-price dinners and farm-style dinners will playfully reflect the elegant and more rustic sides of the same theme.
We offer gift certificates in denominations of $25 or more. Call or email [email protected] to purchase.
Reservations are Strongly Recommended:
seating is limited to 20 diners on Friday and Saturday. To reduce waste, we prepare food each afternoon based on the number of reservations we have.
